Standardizing text markup tokens: Copy comments from one version to another
As you know, Ziflow has recently changed the appearance and functionality of text-based commenting in our Proof Viewer. To ensure a cohesive and user-friendly experience, we'll standardize other elements' looks with a “token-like” appearance.
With this release, we’re updating the styling for the functionality of copying comments from one version to another. By aligning these elements with our new text-based markup styling, we aim to provide a more consistent and visually appealing user interface. Be on the lookout for future releases, where we’ll make other UI aspects in our Proof Viewer more cohesive.
Improvements to our monday.com integration: Obtain user details to automatically assign tasks
We’re excited to introduce an enhancement to our monday.com integration that adds optional automation for assigning tasks. With this release, you can now use a Zibot to “GET” a monday.com user details, enabling you to automatically assign review tasks in monday.com based on proof ownership in Ziflow. Here’s an ideal use case:
When a proof is created in Ziflow and a corresponding task is automatically generated in monday.com, the Zibot will retrieve the monday.com user ID so you can assign the task to the proof owner.
This seamless integration eliminates the need for manual task assignment, reducing administrative overhead and ensuring that the right tasks are assigned to the right people without delay.
Automatically assigning tasks in monday.com to the proof owner in Ziflow ensures consistency and clarity in task management, simplifies your workflow, and makes it easier to track and manage tasks across platforms.
API updates: GET more detailed information about folders
With this release, we’ve simplified the process of obtaining folder information from Ziflow’s API based on folder ID, providing a more efficient and focused approach. Previously, to get information about a specific folder, users had to query the parent folder, which returned details about all subfolders as well.
With this update, you can now directly retrieve detailed information about a folder using its unique folder ID, without the need to query the parent folder and sift through all subfolder data. This enhancement is particularly beneficial for enterprise companies and advanced users who frequently interact with our API. More direct access to folder information via our API should help streamline your workflows and reduce the complexity of data retrieval.
