In this article, you'll find a list of our most impactful new features and enhancements that we have released this month.

Don't worry, for more significant enhancements, you can still check out our blog, as well as read our newsletter. If you have questions about these items, don't hesitate to contact our support team.

Changes to text markup: click tokens to copy text, visuals in proof report and activity log

With this release, we’re introducing a functional improvement to our text markup capabilities in Ziflow. Now, you can simply click on a token ("With”, “Delete”, "Insert", et al) to instantly copy the text that follows that token to your clipboard. In addition, clicking the comment’s context menu will reveal “Copy text to clipboard”, which will copy the entire comment to the clipboard, including the tokens. This makes it easier for your visual designers to capture the suggested text changes and paste them into the active design file, directly from comments in a proof.

In addition to functional changes, we've also enhanced the visual presentation of text markup in the downloadable proof report and digest emails. When viewing comments that include shaded or struck-through text and tags, these visual indicators will now be accurately reflected in the resultant PDF and hourly/daily email notifications.

Finally, the proof activity log will now feature the same syntax within text-based comments that can be seen in Proof Viewer, albeit without color or font styling.

Enhanced File Name Display in Dashboard 2.0

Previously, long file names were truncated in the list of assets on the left side of the proof creation dialog, which would inconvenience users who were managing multiple assets with lengthy file names. With this release, file names will now wrap within the designated display area, ensuring that you can view the complete file name without truncation.

Enhanced File Name Display in Dashboard 2.0

Please note that this improvement is exclusive to Dashboard 2.0. Users still utilizing Dashboard 1.0 may not benefit from this feature. We encourage users with extended file names to consider upgrading to Dashboard 2.0 to leverage this enhanced functionality and enjoy a more efficient proof creation process.
