Depending on your proof permissions, you will complete your review either by selecting Complete Review or Make decision in the Proof Viewer. If you have a Ziflow account, you can also make or change your decision from the Proof Details page.
Pro, Business Legacy, or Enterprise edition administrators can customize decision labels to match your organization's workflows. For more information, see the Manage decision settings.
Ziflow users and administrators: check out Reviewing Proofs in Ziflow for a guided walkthrough.
Complete a review in the Proof Viewer
Comment permission allows the reviewer to mark their review as complete but not submit a decision.
If you have Comment-only permissions, the Complete review button is at the top center in the Proof Viewer.
| Reviewing | You are still reviewing the proof |
| Review complete | You have completed your review |
If your proof contains multiple assets, Ziflow shows you how many need review before you complete your review. See Multiple assets in a proof review.
When you have finished working on a proof, choose Review complete. Your action status changes to Review complete on the Proof Details page.
Withdraw your completed review status
If the proof has not been locked and is still under review, you can revert back to reviewing.
Open the proof in the Proof Viewer and select Reviewing.
Submit a decision in the Proof Viewer
Approve permission lets the reviewer choose a decision from the decision list (e.g., Approved, Changes Required).
If you have Approve permission, the Make decision button is at the top center of the Proof Viewer.
| Decision pending | If the proof has not been locked and is still under review, you can withdraw your decision by selecting Decision pending. |
| Approved | You approve the proof as-is. |
| Approved with changes | You approve the proof but require changes that do not require a new version. |
| Changes required | You require changes and want to review a new version once changes are made. |
| Not relevant | You are opting out of participating in the decision for this version. For example, you may have previously approved content unaffected by the current changes. |
Your organization may use different labels or have different uses for standard labels. If you have questions, ask your Ziflow Administrator.
Multiple assets in a proof review
If your proof contains multiple assets, Ziflow shows you how many need review before you make your decision.
Make decisions from the Proof Details page
If you have a Ziflow account, you can make or change your decision on the Proof Details page.
- Log into your Ziflow account.
- In the Proofs window, select the proof from the list to open the Proofs Detail page.
- Open the review stage, select the decision, and choose an option.
Make a decision for another reviewer
You can make a decision on behalf of another reviewer if you are:
- The proof owner
- A manager on the proof
- A user within the account that has edit rights on proofs created by others
You will be able to mark a review as completed or add their decision on the Proof Details page as you would your own. When you do, the Activity log will indicate that you have made the decision "on behalf of" the other reviewer.
