Ziflow default roles and permissions

There are five  different roles available in your account. 

  • User  (Pro Ent)

  • Billing

  • Admin

  • Manager

  • Lite user (available as an add-on purchase for Enterprise edition)

 

Your Ziflow administrator assigns roles in Ziflow. Administrators can grant multiple roles to the same user. 

The Account Owner role is automatically assigned to the person who created the Ziflow account. The Account Owner is given User, Billing, Admin, and Manager roles. If you need to transfer the Account Owner role, see Transfer account ownership.

If you assign a person all roles (User, Billing, Manager, and Admin), they will have the full permissions of an  Account Owner.

To overwrite the default Ziflow role permissions, use the Custom permissions feature. If you use custom permissions, the permissions shown in the tables below will not apply.

The table below displays the default permissions applied to Ziflow roles.

Guest reviewers

  1. Guests do not have their own Ziflow login and cannot log into the account. They cannot access the Ziflow dashboard and its features.
  2. Guests can access, view, review, approve, and share proofs explicitly shared with them (using a URL sent in a Ziflow email) within the Proof Viewer.
