Transfer account ownership

Account ownership can be transferred to another user if team roles or responsibilities change and a new account steward needs to be named.

Requirements

  • Only the current account owner can transfer ownership.
  • There can be only one account owner.
  • The account owner role can only be granted to a user with a Ziflow administrator role.

Transfer account ownership

  1. Log into Ziflow and select the People tab.
  2. If the user is not an administrator, select the options menu (three dots) and choose Open details. In their profile, choose Admin. Close their profile.

  3. In the People tab, select the options menu (three dots) next to their name and choose Make account owner.

  4. Confirm the ownership transfer when prompted.
    Once confirmed, the account owner role is reassigned immediately.
