Announcing Gallery View inside Ziflow’s Proof Viewer: a brand-new way to engage with multi-asset reviews

Ziflow is thrilled to unveil Gallery View, the first in a string of groundbreaking features to emerge from our multidisciplinary development program, Project Mosaic. This update marks the beginning of a new era in how your team can engage with multi-asset reviews.

Starting today, clicking to open a "folder shareable link" will now launch Proof Viewer in an all new, all-interactive Gallery View. Users can click into individual proofs within the folder, provide feedback, and approve proofs—all while the folder view itself remains locked to the left side of the browser. Clicking a different asset in the folder will open that asset in the main “viewer”, where you can leave comments, make a decision, and move onto the next asset. Clicking the “X” in the top corner of the primary proofing window send you back to the Gallery View of the folder where you can access a new asset or dive deeper into a project’s subfolders.

Available for organizations on our Pro and Enterprise plans, Gallery View will allow you to put multi-page documents, a multitude of disparate campaign assets, myriad creative variations, and various review materials into a single folder. Sharing that folder’s link with a reviewer or group of reviewers will kick off a comprehensive multi-asset review process, where every individual asset within the review can be commented on and approved—all without leaving the browser window.

Gallery View offers a transformative way to manage complex projects involving multiple assets, but it’s merely the first step—this release just scratches the surface of what we have planned with our “Project Mosaic”, which will revolutionize the way you and your team engage with multi-asset reviews.

Update to Ziflow’s Dashboard: New “Review” action in folder context menus

With this week’s release, we’ve made it easier than ever to access the all-new Gallery View within Ziflow’s Proof Viewer—a new "Review" action in the context menus throughout the Dashboard. This new option provides a direct pathway to Gallery View, giving you even easier access to multi-asset reviews.

Whether you’re navigating folders in the Grid, List, or Expanded views, or even scrolling through the sidebar, you can now easily open a folder’s Gallery View in Proof Viewer by right-clicking to reveal the context menu, and selecting this new “Review” option.

By making our new Gallery View more easily accessible, we hope to encourage users to adopt new workflows and take full advantage of the powerful features that Project Mosaic will bring.

Update to folder permission changes: subfolders take on the permissions of parent folders

With this release, we’re making an improvement to folder permissions, designed to make content sharing with Ziflow even easier. Starting today, changing the folder link permissions on a parent folder will now automatically apply those same permissions to all subfolders, ensuring consistent access across your entire folder structure—similar to the way other asset management tools operate (Google Drive, et al).

When changing access settings, a message has been added to the folder sharing modal that reads: “Updating folder permissions updates permissions of all subfolders”, ensuring all users will be aware of the repercussions of changing access levels.

In addition, when creating a new folder, the folder link permission settings will inherit the permissions of the parent folder by default, ensuring that new folders are immediately accessible to the intended audience. By making folder permissions more intuitive and consistent, we’re ensuring that content—especially in Gallery View—can be easily shared with and accessed by the widest possible set of users.
