Improvement to thumbnail appearance for Website proofs
Previously, when selecting the "Original" option for the setting “Thumbnails aspect ratio”, the thumbnails for website proofs would display the entire website (from top to bottom) in the small thumbnail box, leading to difficulties in discerning the content.
With this release, we've refined the behavior of thumbnails for both live websites and “snapshot” website proofs: regardless of the aspect ratio setting, thumbnails for website proofs will now consistently display the cropped top of the website.
This ensures that website proof thumbnails offer a clearer representation of the content, making it easier for Dashboard users to understand the nature of the proof at a glance. By focusing on the top of the webpage, users can quickly identify the essence of the proof before clicking, improving efficiency and usability.
Change to folder cloning behavior
Currently, when a user clones a folder, the owner of the cloned folder defaults to the previous folder’s owner, leading to potentially confusing outcomes. With this update, we've ensured that when a folder is cloned, the cloned folder’s owner will be the person who initiated the cloning process. This logical adjustment aligns with user expectations and simplifies the folder management experience.
Download original files from Ziflow’s Dashboard in bulk—now up to 250 GB
Today, Dashboard users can select multiple proofs and download the original files as a .ZIP file. However, the maximum download size is limited to 50 GB, which may be insufficient for larger projects.
With this week’s release, users can now select proofs totaling up to 250 GB in size and download them as a single .ZIP file. This fivefold increase in download capacity provides users with greater flexibility and efficiency in managing and distributing their project assets.
The expansion of our download limit to 250 GB aligns with industry standards and addresses the evolving needs of our users. By listening to customer feedback and implementing this enhancement, we're ensuring that Ziflow remains a reliable and scalable solution for handling large-scale projects and diverse file types.
