Enhanced security for your video assets with Video watermarking

With this release, we’ve added Video watermarking capabilities to our suite of security features, designed to add an extra layer of protection to your video assets. Information can be displayed via the watermark to users within Ziflow Viewer during the review process, such as the video's content, source, or other identifiable details, which will act as a deterrent against unauthorized screen-capturing and sharing of confidential assets.

Ziflow admins can use our watermark builder to either embed a logo or specify the text to be used as a watermark on uploaded videos. In the builder, admins can customize the size, color, opacity, and location of the watermark to suit your team’s needs. This section of Admin settings also features a toggle to turn Video watermarking on or off for all proofs.

Video watermarking in Ziflow is not simply a display “overlay” that can be turned on or off—all video assets uploaded with this setting enabled will continue to have a persistent watermark.

If a video is uploaded with the toggle set to “on”, this asset will display with the specified watermark to users in the Ziflow Viewer for the life of the asset. If the video is uploaded with the toggle set to “off”, no watermark will be displayed on the video. The original file does not get altered, so it's recommended to also disable file downloading for extra security on your video assets.
