Ziflow administrators or Enterprise licensed users with custom permissions can set up flows. To use Dropbox to automate your proof creation, see Use Dropbox and Google Drive for automated proof creation.

Basic flow creation

Dropbox events

Follow these steps when starting your flow with a Dropbox event.

1. Select Connect in Ziflow’s main navigation and select Create Flow.
   
   
    
2. Select Dropbox as your flow’s application source.
3. Enter a name for your flow.
4. Select the event that will start the flow. See Dropbox events for a list of all Dropbox events and details on each setting.
   
   

Ziflow events

Follow these steps when starting your flow with a Ziflow event.

1. Select Connect in Ziflow’s main navigation and select Create Flow.
   
   
    
2. Select Ziflow as your flow’s application source. If you don't see it, follow the instructions in Connect your Ziflow app.
3. Enter a name for your flow.
4. Select the event that will start the flow. See Ziflow events for a list of all Ziflow events and details on each setting.
   
   

Upload a new proof to Dropbox

This flow will download a copy of the proof to a specified Dropbox folder when a new proof is created in Ziflow.

1. Start with a Basic flow creation and select Ziflow as your application source.
2. Select the New proof/version Ziflow event, configure the fields, and select Next.
3. Select the Upload file to Dropbox Zibot.

4. Fill out the Zibot details. 
   
   

   Field	Description
   Application	Your Dropbox account
   File source (URL)	The proof download link (already filled in)
   Target Dropbox folder path	The path to your Dropbox with a subfolder where you want to store your proof downloads.
   File target name	The name of the file (already filled in)

5. Select Next, then Save & turn on.

6. Test your automation flow by creating a new proof. Verify that the proof is in your Dropbox account.

Create a Dropbox subfolder when a new proof is uploaded to Ziflow

This flow will create a subfolder in Dropbox when a new proof is created.

1. Start with a Basic flow creation and select Ziflow as your application source.
2. Select the New proof/version Ziflow event, configure the fields, and select Next.
3. Choose the Create a Dropbox folder Dropbox Zibot. 
4. Configure the Zibot. In this example, we are creating a subfolder in the Ziflow proof images folder in the Dropbox account. The subfolder name will inherit its name from a proof name.
   
   
    
5. Save and turn on your flow.
6. Test your automation flow by creating a new proof. Verify that the subfolder is created in your Dropbox account.

Upload an asset file to Dropbox when a decision is made in Ziflow

This automation flow will send a copy of an asset to a Dropbox folder when a decision is made on the proof.

1. Start with a Basic flow creation and select Ziflow as your application source.
2. Select the Decision update Ziflow event, configure the fields, and select Next. 
3. Select the Search for Dropbox folder Dropbox Zibot and enter the proof name token in Folder name field. 
   
   
    
4. Select Next.
5. Add the Upload file to Dropbox Zibot which will upload the approved asset file to the selected Dropbox destination.
   In the Target Dropbox folder path field, select Dropbox V2 - Search for a folder (zibot[0]) > Matches > Metadata > Metadata > Path to get the correct token. 
   
   
    
6. Save and turn on your flow.
7. Test your flow by creating a proof and making the decision that you configured in the Ziflow event. Verify that the file is sent to Dropbox.
