Exciting changes to the Ziflow Viewer: Faster zooming, easier scrolling, and more
Recently, you may have seen emails or other messages that discussed our intention to deprecate Ziflow’s Legacy Viewer. which we have decided to postpone until a date in the future. We believe that there are still some important updates to be made to the current version of Ziflow’s Viewer, so we will continue to support the legacy viewer until those changes are completed.
Improved zoom-in and zoom-out for video assets:
One of those updates to Ziflow’s Viewer involves making it easier to view video assets in finer detail. We’ve improved the speed of zooming in and out using a trackpad or mouse wheel, removing the artificial “stops” that were in place to mitigate zooming too quickly. Upon the initial “zoom in” action, Ziflow will fill the entire frame of the Viewer with the video asset, giving the video player all of the available space alongside the list of comments. Each subsequent “zoom in” will give you increasing levels of detail inside the video viewer itself.
Scrolling left, right, up, and down:
Next, we’ve improved the scrolling within the Ziflow Viewer, preventing an asset from getting “lost” within the large canvas of the commenting environment. We’ve put artificial boundaries around the asset to prevent over-scrolling that would put the asset outside the viewable area in the Viewer window itself.
Brighter Auto Compare colors:
Finally, we’ve made a slight but significant improvement to the colors in the Auto Compare feature in the Ziflow Viewer’s Compare Mode. The previously muted shades of red, pink, green, blue, and yellow that were used to easily identify changes between versions have been adjusted to be bolder, brighter, and more noticeable to the naked eye.
These changes are the result of feedback from customers like you, focused on useability and making it easier to view your assets—and the differences between them—in greater detail.

Ziflow 2.0: We’ve heard your feedback and have made our all-new dashboard even better
This past July, we released Ziflow 2.0, an exciting upgrade to our dashboard user experience, including a revamped interface, improved filtering engine, a streamlined way to create new reviews and much more. Between release day and now, we’ve met with hundreds of customers to hear their feedback, and we’re excited to share a list of further updates to Ziflow 2.0 suggested by users just like you.
Views:
Saved Views within Ziflow’s new dashboard are a simple way to apply filters and keep track of active reviews in an easy-to-navigate tabbed interface. Now those tabs can be easily reordered by dragging and dropping them into place within the top bar.
Views themselves can now be more easily modified and saved, without needing to duplicate a View, making a change, and saving as a new one. We’ve updated the Views dropdown menu, to ensure that all Views are now prominently displayed within the selection area.
See all of your reviews:
Sometimes you want to see every single review that you have access to within your dashboard without any filters applied. For those moments, we’ve added an “Everything” button at the top of the list of folders and workspaces. Clicking that shortcut will take you to a view of all of the reviews you can access across all of your workspaces, with “All” reviews selected by default.
For moments when you want to see all of the reviews you have access to within a particular folder or workspace, we’ve added an “All” shortcut. After selecting a folder or workspace in the left navigation panel, click the persistent “home” icon on the far left side of your saved Views bar to be able to quickly see all of your reviews without any filters or view settings.
Review Details:
Workflow templates can add repeatability and accountability to your creative process by ensuring the same set of approvers leave feedback at the appropriate time, each time that type of review project is launched. We’ve recently introduced the ability to save the review workflow as a new workflow template directly from the Review Details page, with a simple “Save As” prompt to make it easier to build a new template from within a new or active project.
