Measurement tool improvements
Available on: Free Standard Pro Enterprise
The Measurement Tool now supports faster and more efficient review workflows with automatic area calculations and quicker measurement resets. For more information, see Use the Measurement tool.
Automatic area calculation
When measuring a rectangular selection, the Measurement tool now automatically calculates and displays the total area based on the selected width and height.
Reset measurements
You can now quickly clear the current measurement without leaving the Measurement tool.
A new Reset button in the Measurement Area panel removes the active measurement selection and resets the displayed selection values, allowing you to immediately start a new measurement.
Tenant-only verification
Ziflow is introducing Tenant-only verification, a security feature that changes how user verification applies across workspaces. This extra security is added for all accounts; you do not need to enable anything.
After this release, verifying a user in one workspace does not automatically grant access to other workspaces associated with that email address. Each workspace must be activated separately by the new user.
This feature adds additional security and access control to your Ziflow accounts. Tenant-only verification does not replace or modify authentication methods. The feature only limits the scope of a verification event. For more information, see About Tenant-only verification.
Proof Viewer: page navigator setting
Available on: Free Standard Pro Enterprise
A new setting in the Proof Viewer lets you show or hide the page navigator based on your preference. This is especially useful when reviewing detailed designs, single-page layouts, or other content that benefits from an unobstructed view. For more information, see Adjust Proof Viewer settings
Export improvements: remember last used export settings
Export proof report - Free Standard Pro Enterprise
Export PDF with comments - Pro Enterprise
Ziflow now remembers your most recently selected export options when exporting a proof report or exporting a proof to PDF in the Dashboard and Proof Viewer. This helps reduce repetitive setup and minimizes the chance of exporting with the wrong configuration.
Gallery view: sort by proof status
Available on: Pro Enterprise
You can now sort proofs in Gallery view by their overall Proof Status, making it easier to identify work that still needs attention.
This update improves visibility for users managing multiple proofs by adding Proof Status as a sortable option alongside existing fields like created date, name, and decision-related filters. For more information, see View proofs in Gallery view.
Proof Viewer settings: hide checklist edit and reset controls
Available for administrators on: Enterprise
We’ve added a new Proof Viewer setting that lets administrators hide checklist editing and reset actions in the Proof Viewer UI. This is designed to support embedded and integrator use cases where navigation and editing controls need to be restricted. Administrators can still edit checklists from the Checklists administrator settings when Proof Viewer settings are hidden.
For more information, see Configure default Proof Viewer settings.
Dashboard branding: improved icon contrast for header
Available on: Standard Pro Enterprise
We’ve improved Dashboard branding to ensure better readability and accessibility when customizing header colors.
Only the header background color can be configured, which sometimes led to poor icon visibility when darker colors were selected. Now, Ziflow detects when a darker color is selected and selects a suitable icon color to create visual contrast.
API: update checklist template
We’ve introduced a new API endpoint that allows editing existing checklist templates, including their structure, sections, and items.
Endpoint: PUT https://api.ziflow.io/v1/checklist-templates/{id}
This endpoint allows systems and users to update checklist templates, including:
- Template metadata (name, description, active state)
- Sections and nested items
- Standalone items (without sections)
For more information, see the Ziflow API documentation.
ReviewAI
Available on: Enterprise - paid add-on
Support for comment direction instructions
ReviewAI comment suggestions now support checklist prompt instructions that define how generated comments should be written.
This enhancement improves alignment between ReviewAI output and reviewer expectations by allowing checklist prompts to guide the style, structure, or content of AI-generated comments. For more information, see Define how ReviewAI writes suggested comments
Improved fit-to-page for full-page comment suggestions
We’ve improved how proofs are displayed when opening assets that contain full-page comment suggestions.
Previously, the automatic fit-to-canvas behavior could position the asset in a way that caused full-page comment pins to appear off-screen or partially hidden.
