In the comments, you can reactions, label, and attach files. Ziflow keeps all threads of conversation in the Comments area of the Proof Viewer.
Add comment reactions
Available for any reviewer with Comment permissions on: Free Standard Pro Enterprise
You can respond to comments with a quick Like, Verified, Insightful, or Rejected emoji. Reactions are a great way to show your support for a comment, express agreement or disagreement, or simply acknowledge that you've seen it.
- In the Proof Viewer, select the Comment icon in the upper-right corner to open the comments.
- To add a reaction, hover over a comment and click the reaction button. You'll see a list of available emojis to choose from, and you can select the one that best fits your response.
Comment reactions are not included in automatic emails sent by Ziflow.
Export comment reactions with comments
Comment reactions are included with comments when exporting comments to PDF.
Your Ziflow administrator can enable/disable specific reactions in your account. See Manage comments, labels, and reactions for more information.
View comment reactions in the activity log
Proof owners/managers can see comment reactions in the proof activity log when they view the proof details.
Filter comment reactions filters
You can filter comments to display comments that contain reactions. For more information, see Sort, search, and filter comments.
Add comment labels
Available for any reviewer with Comment permissions on: Standard (one label only) Pro (unlimited) Enterprise (unlimited)
You can label your comments to indicate an action that needs to be taken or the status of a comment. This helps other reviewers and proof creators filter comments by label type.
Your administrator manages your labels. For more information, see Manage comments, labels, and reactions.
- Open a proof in the Proof Viewer and add a comment.
- In the comment box, select the label icon and choose a label from the list.
- Select Post. The label will be added to the comment.
Attach files to comments
You can attach files to your comments that other reviewers can download.
- Size limit: 500 MB
- The attached files count towards your available storage allocation
- Ziflow scans attached files for viruses. Infected file are removed from the attachments list automatically.
File formats not supported as comment attachments:
.exe, .bat, .dll, .tmp, .sfx, .js, .jse, .jar, .vbs, .vb, .vbe, .py, .msi, .msp, .com, .cmd, .hta, .ps1, .pif, .application, .gadget, .scr, .cpl, .msc, .ws, .wsf, .wsc, .wsh, .psc1, .scf, .lnk, .inf, .reg, .docm, .dotm, .xlsm, .xltm, .xlam, .pptm, .potm, .ppam, .ppsm, .sldm, .eicar, .sh
- In the Proof Viewer, create a comment. Once your comment is entered, the option to save a comment with attachments becomes available.
Option 1: When adding a comment or replying to a comment, click on the paperclip icon under the comments box, and select the file you wish to attach.
Option 2: Drag the file(s) you wish to attach directly into the comment box. The comment box will turn into an upload icon and then show a progress bar once you drop the files in.
Option 3: Use your keyboard shortcut to copy a desired image (Ctrl+C) and then paste it (Ctrl+V) into the comment text box.
To remove your attachment, select the trashcan icon in the comment box next to the file.
Download an attachment
To download an attachment from a comment:
- Select the attachment.
- Choose the download location and select Save.
