New Auto Compare settings: Blink Differences and Background Overlay
With this release, we’re excited to introduce Blink Differences and Background Overlay, two powerful new settings within Ziflow’s Auto Compare feature that will increase the velocity of your review and approval process by making it easier to verify changes between versions.
When comparing two versions of an asset in Compare Mode, clicking the Blink Differences toggle in the Auto Compare settings will highlight all visible differences between the assets by making them pulsate, ensuring that your reviewers can easily identify and focus on the elements that have changed.
Also in the Auto Compare settings are three Background Overlay radio buttons that allow a reviewer to add a dark or light background over the newer version (the default value is “off” or no background overlay). The contrast between the overlaid background and the changed elements will highlight the nuances between the two distinct assets.
New Ziflow Connect application (BETA): Salesforce
In this release, we're excited to introduce the initial set of features for Ziflow’s new integration with Salesforce, the industry leader in CRM software. Most Ziflow Connect integrations feature several actions that leverage the corresponding application’s API: Search for a Task, Create a Task, Add a Comment on a Task, Mark a Task as Complete, to name just a few. For this initial beta period, the only actions that a Zibot can automate in Salesforce are “Find Record” and “Update Record”—where the word “record” can mean any object in your Salesforce instance, including custom objects.
Even with this nascent functionality, this new Ziflow Connect app will allow you to locate a particular task or project within Salesforce and make changes to it—actions that are a great step forward in streamlining your team’s collaboration and enhancing your creative workflow.
Enterprise teams who use Salesforce for project management tasks will have their interest piqued by these new capabilities, which we hope will reach the “feature complete” stage by the end of the quarter. Update to Ziflow Viewer: Sort comments by public or private entries
In this week’s release, we’ve added the ability to stack rank comments in Ziflow’s Viewer by putting either Private or Public entries first. Right now, depending on their level of access, reviewers could apply a filter to display only private or public comments. This new sorting feature allows them to quickly categorize comments without removing them from their view.
A way to easily discern between comment types is important because “private” and “public” is commonly used to differentiate between internal and external feedback on a review. However, depending on your company’s use of Ziflow, the meaning of "external" could vary. For example, creative agencies could consider “public” comments to be coming from their clients outside of the organization. Marketing teams inside a large organization may classify “public” (e.g., non-”private”) as comments coming from stakeholders outside of the core team of creatives. This feature helps reviewers more easily view comments by inside or outside parties, making for a more streamlined feedback and approval process.
