Barcode and QR code inspector

Reviewers working with packaging and print-ready assets can now validate barcodes and QR codes directly in the Proof Viewer. Select the barcode inspector icon in the toolbar to see every detected barcode listed in a side panel, along with its type (UPC-A, EAN-13, QR, and others), encoded value, physical size, and page number. For more information, see Inspect barcodes.

Mark a comment as read when you resolve it

Available on:Pro Enterprise

Resolving a comment now automatically marks it as read for you and everyone, so it no longer needs your attention. If someone later reopens the comment, it returns to unread for anyone who hadn't read it before it was resolved. For more information, see Resolve comments in a proof.

Mask sensitive data in AI requests

ReviewAI available on: Enterprise

Live comments (Private Preview) available on: Enterprise

Comment assistance available on: Standard Pro Enterprise

Ziflow administrators can now turn on Mask sensitive data in all AI requests from Settings > Proof Settings > AI features, to route AI requests through a masking guardrail that strips personal data (names, emails, phone numbers, addresses) before it reaches the underlying model. EU tenants have this setting on by default; US tenants have it off by default. Administrators can override the default for their account at any time.

For more information, see Manage AI feature settings.

Set time zones for your deadlines

Available on: Standard Pro Enterprise

When you set a Stage start day or Business days deadline on a proof or workflow template, you can choose which time zone Ziflow uses to calculate it. It defaults to your browser's detected time zone, but you can change it to any supported time zone. This keeps deadlines calculating against the local time you intended, instead of shifting due to UTC conversion near weekends.

When you edit an existing deadline, the edit dialog shows the originally configured time and the time zone used to calculate it. Deadlines created by Zibots store and use the intended time zone too, and the Ziflow API also supports time zones for deadlines.

This fixes a known issue of Business days deadlines calculating in UTC instead of your local time, which could shift the final deadline by a day near weekends.

For more information, see Set stage deadlines in workflows and the Ziflow API - Workflow Templates documentation.
