Open proofs as a Guest

Ziflow allows external collaborators, such as clients, freelancers, and stakeholders, to review creative content without needing a full Ziflow account. Guests can view, comment on, and approve content without a Ziflow account. Available actions are determined by the permissions set by the proof owner.

If you’ve received a proof email invitation or a public link but don't have a Ziflow account, you can securely access and review your proof as a Guest.

Open proofs from an email

When someone adds you to a proof, you’ll receive an email from Ziflow with the name of the sender. It includes:

  • The name of the proof (e.g., “Summer Campaign Video”)
  • The proof version
  • Your progress on the proof (Sent, Opened, Commented, Decision)
  • An Open Proof link to access the proof
  • The stage and a list of all reviewers on the stage

 

  1. Check your email for the proof invite.
  2. Select Open Proof to begin.

    After selecting the proof link, one of the following happens:
    • The proof opens in the Proof Viewer immediately and you can start reviewing.
    • You’ll see a message that a temporary access code has been sent. Go to step 3.
  3. When the proof security settings require authentication, you’ll be prompted to enter a temporary access code to open the Proof Viewer. Ziflow sends this code to your email after you. Select Open Proof.
    Check your inbox (it usually arrives within seconds), and enter the code into the prompt on your screen.

    If you do not receive a code, check your spam folder. If it's not there, select Send another one to resend the code.

    Once you enter the code, you’ll be taken directly to the Proof Viewer.  Ziflow works in your browser, so you do not need to install anything. See Supported browsers.

Troubleshooting

My code expired
Codes expire after a short time for security reasons. Click the link in your email again to request a fresh code.

I can't find the access code email
Check your spam or junk folder. If it’s still missing, click Resend Code or contact the person who shared the proof.

What do I do if I need help?
If you're having trouble accessing a proof or using Ziflow as a Guest, contact the person who shared the proof with you or reach out to Ziflow Support.

Open proofs from a public link

Guests can also open proofs using a public link. 

  1. Select the link to open the Proof Viewer.
  2. Select the Sign in button.

Depending on the proof's authentication settings, you'll need to identify yourself in one of the following ways:

  • If authentication is not required: enter your email address and select Continue.
  • If authentication is required: enter your email address and select Continue.  Check your email  and enter the verification code into the prompt on your screen.
