In this article, you'll find a list of our most impactful new features and enhancements that we have released this month.
Don't worry, for more significant enhancements, you can still check out our blog, as well as read our newsletter. If you have questions about these items, don't hesitate to contact our support team.
Admins and users can now resubscribe to notification emails from Ziflow
With this release, Ziflow Admins now have the ability to re-subscribe users and contacts who have previously opted out of email notifications from the Ziflow platform (note: this does not apply to marketing emails). If a user has unsubscribed from notification emails, a small indicator icon will appear alongside their name on Users screen and in their user profile.
Individual users can opt themselves back in to emails from the context menu in the Users table, or from within their profile fly-out, while Admins have the ability to resubscribe any user in that account to receive notifications. See Resubscribe to Ziflow emails.
Now generally available: Out of Office settings and status indicators
After a successful public preview, Ziflow’s Out of Office feature is now officially generally available for all users.
With this release, creative stakeholders can mark themselves as Out of Office, including from/to dates, making it clear when they’re unavailable to participate in creative reviews. OOO status appears wherever teammates might need to know—such as during reviewer selection, in Proof Details, and even in @mentions within the Proof Viewer—displayed as a small calendar icon with helpful hover-over context. See Manage out of office.
Gallery View: now optimized for mobile devices
Gallery View is the future of multi-asset review—and now, it works better on the go. With this release, Gallery View is officially mobile-optimized, making it easier to review and approve content from your phone or handheld device.
With this release, we’ve made the X button more prominent, making it easier to close a proof and return to the Gallery View, just like you would in the desktop experience. And, we’ve improved the placement for both the Comment and Decision buttons, making the two most consequential actions in Proof Viewer easier to do.
Gallery View was originally built for desktop, but your feedback pushed us to make it mobile-friendly. Thanks to those who weighed in and for helping us make it easier to review assets from anywhere.
Updates to Proof Details fly-out—Copy Public Link with only one click
We’ve made a frequently used action easier to accomplish: copying the Public Link to a proof from Proof Details. Previously, you had to click the link icon, then choose “Copy Public Link” from a dropdown menu—two clicks to get a URL.
With this release, it’s now one click: clicking the new Copy Link button instantly copies the Public Link to your clipboard. If you need to copy the Proof ID, we’ve placed the “Copy Proof ID” action into the Proof Details’ context menu, allowing you to click the “three dots” and capture the ID from the resultant dropdown.
In addition, we’ve moved the “Move Proof” action to the same context menu in Proof Details, resulting in a streamlined set of buttons that reflect the most commonly used actions on this screen. See Proof Details Page.
Update to Intake Forms: New proof / New version selection button
We’ve made a small but important change to help eliminate a common mistake in Intake Forms. Previously, users had to check a box labeled “Create new version”, something that outside collaborators often missed. This led to Creative Ops Managers needing to manually associate the new proof to an existing one after the fact.
With this release, we’ve replaced the checkbox with a clear either/or radio button: ”Create new proof” or “Create new version for an existing proof”. Selecting the former would be akin to using the legacy Intake Form without ticking the checkbox. Selecting the latter will prompt the user to utilize the same search behavior to locate the original proof. See Use intake forms for automated proof creation.
This is a small change to our Intake Form user interface, but one that’s designed to create lasting behavior improvements and reduce manual cleanup for internal teams.
