How to start submitting proofs using monday.com?

The way of triggering a new proof from monday.com depends on the selected type of integration:

When an item with a file is created using a form, create a proof in Ziflow

1. Use the monday.com Form to add a New item

Firstly, ensure you've added a Files column to your board. Then add monday.com Form by clicking on the Add view button.

Add files column to selected monday.com board

The created form can be used to add new monday.com items along with files that will be pushed to Ziflow.

Use created monday.com form to submit assets to Ziflow

This mechanism will automatically add a new item to your monday.com board each time someone submits a Form. When a new item is added to the board, the Integration will send a file to Ziflow, and a new proof will be added.

When adding a file to a Files column, create a proof in Ziflow

1. Add a file directly from an Add/Manage file picker or drag & drop the file directly in a file column:

Click on an Add/Manage files button for the monday.com item where you want to place a proof and upload the file using your preferred method.

When a file is added to a Files column, create a new proof and the new proof version for each of the file versions.

Ziflow integration with monday.com supports creating new proof versions from the monday.com level.

Start by setting up a Ziflow app automation in your monday.com board. This automation is configured to create a new proof when you upload a file to the monday.com item. It will also create a new proof version for each of the file versions added to the monday.com item file.

Read more about adding multiple file versions in the monday.com knowledge base.

Once the automation is added to your monday.com board, you can trigger a new proof simply by adding a new monday.com item and then uploading a file to the Files column.

To create a new proof version in Ziflow, open an already uploaded asset in the monday.com item and click the Versions button. This will allow you to upload a new file version, which will trigger a new proof version inside the Ziflow.
