How do you start submitting proofs using monday.com?

The way of triggering a new proof from monday.com depends on the selected type of integration:

When an item with a file is created using a form, create a proof in Ziflow.

1. Use the monday.com Form to add a New item

Firstly, make sure that you've added a Files column to your board. Then, add the monday.com form by clicking on the Add view button.

The created form can be used to add new Monday.com items along with files that will be pushed to Ziflow.

Open added monday.com form and upload files that will appear in your monday.com board and then will be sent to Ziflow

When a form is submitted, this mechanism will automatically create a new item on your monday.com board. Once the item is added, the Integration will send a file to Ziflow and initiate a new proof.

How does Ziflow notify monday.com about created/failed proofs?

After connecting monday.com with Ziflow, you will notice two flows being automatically added to the list of your Ziflow flows.

Flows that will inform about created/failed proofs are added automatically to Ziflow flow list

Information about successfully created proofs and failures will be sent through these flows. As a result, you will receive notifications about these events within your monday.com account.

Additional information:

  • Currently, in monday.com, you cannot control how proofs will look on the Ziflow side. This is because proofs are created with a single reviewer (proof owner) and empty proof settings. After submitting the proof, it is possible to make adjustments to it based on your requirements. To do so, access the Proof Details Page and make the necessary changes, such as adding reviewers or adjusting settings.
