Import checklist items from a CSV file when creating a new checklist template or updating an existing one. Importing is faster than manual entry for large checklists and also allows you to bring ReviewAI prompts into Ziflow.

Download a starting template: Use the Ziflow Checklist samples.  Go to the Import checklist items and ReviewAI prompts tab for a version pre-formatted for AI prompts. This example template is also available for download in Ziflow when you select the Import checklist window.

Limits:

• Maximum file size: 50 MB
• You can import one file at a time
• Up to 200 checklist items per checklist (same limit as manual entry)

Import checklist items

Only users with permission to manage checklist templates can import checklist items.

1. Log into Ziflow.
2. Select your user avatar and choose Settings > Proof Settings > Checklists.
3. Select Add checklist to create a new template, or select an existing checklist to open Edit checklist.
4. Select the options menu (three dots), and choose Import checklist items.
   
   
    
5. Choose the CSV file to upload. 
   You can use the example file as a template and add your checklist items to import.
   
   
    
6. Choose how to apply the import:
   • Replace current items: removes existing checklist items and replaces them with the imported items.
   • Add to current items: keeps existing items and appends the imported items to the bottom of the list.
7. If the file has a formatting problem, Ziflow shows an inline error message and disables the Import button until you upload a corrected file.
8. Review the imported items, then select Create (new checklist) or Save (existing checklist).

Importing into an existing, active checklist does not automatically update proofs already using that checklist. To apply the new items to an in-progress review, reset the checklist in the Proof Viewer.
