Microsoft Teams flow examples

Ziflow administrators or Enterprise licensed users with custom permissions can set up flows.

In addition to connecting your Microsoft account, you will need to connect your Ziflow app. See Connect your Ziflow app.

Basic flow creation

  1. Select Connect in Ziflow’s main navigation and select Create Flow.

  2. Select Ziflow as your flow’s application source. If you don't see it, follow the instructions in Connect your Ziflow app.
  3. Enter a name for your flow.
  4. Select the event that will start the flow. See Ziflow events for a list of all Ziflow events and details on each setting.

  5. Add Sharepoint Zibots to the flow.

 

Send a message to Microsoft Teams when a new proof is created

This flow will send a message to a channel and populate proof integration fields when a new proof is created in Ziflow.

  1. Start with a Basic flow creation and select Ziflow as your application source.
  2. Select the New proof/version Ziflow event, configure, and select Next.
  3. Select the Send to channel Zibot and enter the details. This example shows creating a message in the Test channel in Ziflow Ltd Team. You can use tokens to create the message.

    To add a hyperlink to the proof link in the Microsoft Teams integration, use this structure:

  4. Add two Add or update proof integration property Ziflow Zibots: one for Team ID and one for the Channel ID to populate the application fields of a newly created proof with information sourced from Microsoft Teams. 
  5. Enter information to populate the Team ID in the proof integration details.
    For the Integration property value, choose MS Teams - Send to Channel (zibot[0]) > Channel identity > Team Id.

  6. Enter information to populate the Channel ID in the proof integration details.
    For the Integration property value, choose MS Teams - Send to Channel (zibot[0]) > Channel identity > Channel Id.

  7. Save and turn on the flow.

  8. Test the flow by creating a proof and verifying that the message was posted in the specified Microsoft Teams channel and the integration details appear in the Integration tab in Ziflow.
