Edit, remove, and restore comments

You can edit, remove, or restore your comments in the Proof Viewer when the proof is unlocked.

Your Ziflow administrator can allow reviewers to change comments on locked proofs.

Edit comments

You can edit your comments when the proof is unlocked. 

  1. Select the comment menu icon. 
  2. Hover over your comment, select the Options menu (3 dots) and choose Edit.
  3. Make your changes and select Post.

Remove comments

You can remove your comments when the proof is unlocked.  If you have Manage permissions, you can remove other users' comments in addition to your own.

Note: If you remove a comment, it will also remove any replies and any files that are attached to the comment.

  1. Select the comment menu icon to open the comments area.
  2. Hover over your comment, select the Options menu (3 dots) and choose Remove.

Restore removed comments

  • Proof owners, reviewers with Manage permissions, and Ziflow administrators can restore deleted comments.
  • Reviewers with Comment permissions can restore their own comments.

To find and restore a removed comment:

  1. Select the comment menu icon to open the comments area and select the Filter icon. 
  2. Toggle Show deleted comments to On and select Done.
  3. Hover over the comment you want to restore and select the restore icon on the comment.
  4. Return to the Filter window and turn off Show deleted comments.
