Reviewer comment permission in Ziflow

Add @mentions to comments or replies

  1. In the comment, type the @ symbol.
Ziflow displays a drop-down list of all reviewers assigned to the current stage.

  2. Select a name from the list to tag that reviewer in your comment.
Ziflow then sends the tagged reviewer an email notification containing your comment and proof details.

If the comment is later edited, all @mentioned reviewers receive an updated email notification.

Change @mentioning permissions

Business Legacy, Standard Pro Enterprise

By default, reviewers can only @mention others within their own stage. Your Ziflow administrator can change the permissions to allow the following reviewers to be @mentioned on a proof:

  • Only reviewers on the proof
  • Only reviewers on the same stage
  • Only active users in the account
  • All users and guests in the account

Select your user avatar and select Settings > Proofing Settings > General > Allow @mentioning

This only applies to users and guests who are within the same Ziflow account. When @mention permissions include people who are not part of the current review or stage and you add someone who is not included in the proof:

  • Ziflow indicates that the user or guest is not currently part of the proof.

    not on the proof

  • Ziflow will prompt you to share the proof and assign that person to a stage.

not on the proof - share the proof pop up
