Ziflow administrators can customize email templates to control what proof information is shared with reviewers. This includes editing or removing text, proof details, stage information, proff previews (called thumbnails), and other elements that may be sensitive or unnecessary.

To customize email templates, from your avatar menu select Settings > Proofing Settings > Email Templates.
Email Templates contains a list of templates that you can customize. Select a template to open its settings.

Decide whether to include content from the email template when a custom subject and message are entered during proof creation. Enabled: Recipients will receive both the template content and the custom message. Disabled: Only the custom subject and message will be sent. |

Use the text editor to define the email subject and content. You can insert predefined tokens or use JSONPath or JSONata expressions to dynamically include proof data. | Proof summary | Choose to show the Proof summary in the email, show without a proof preview (thumbnail), or not show the summary. |

| Stage details | Choose to include stage information in the notification. |
| Reset template | Restore the template to its default settings. |
| Publish | Save and activate the edited template. |
| Save draft | Save your template without publishing. The current active template remains in use until you publish the draft. |
| Cancel | Exit edit mode without saving changes. |
| Send test email | Sends you a test email of the current version of the template. |
