Export data to CSV

Ziflow's export to CSV function allows you to extract information about proofs, reviewers, comments, and stages to use to create audit trails and reports, or integrate the data into external workflows.

Before exporting, you can filter data to target specific proofs and customize which columns to include. The exported data varies depending on selected options and user permissions. All exports include a standard set of fields, while additional data (such as custom properties, stages, comments, and reviewer details) is available selectively, based on the account configuration and user role.

For a description of the exported fields (Release 25.10), see CSV export data description.

Available: Proof data - Business Legacy, Standard Pro Enterprise

Exporting stages, comments, and reviewers is currently in Public Preview. For more information about release phases, see Ziflow feature release phases.

    How does it work?

You should start with filtering the proofs that you want to export. Proofs that are displayed in your current list will be exported.

Once your proof list displays the needed items, click on the Export proofs icon. A pop-up menu will appear with a couple of setting options.

    Export proofs options in Ziflow

    1. Email - this will automatically display the email address of the user who is exporting the proofs (not editable).

    2. File format - we currently support CSV file format.

    3. Versions - decide if the export should contain all proof versions or just the latest version only.

    4. Properties - choose if you want to include custom properties in your export. This export will also include a Public URL field for exported proofs.

When all the settings are selected, click the green Export button. At the top of the screen, you’ll see a notification informing you that your export is ready. Click here to download the file.
