Happy New Year! This release includes updates to mobile commenting, proof organization in the Dashboard,  configuration for live website proxy settings, and a sandbox for testing ReviewAI prompts.

Proof Viewer on mobile: Updated user experience for Comments and Replies

We’ve made several updates to the mobile version of Proof Viewer to make commenting and replying faster, clearer, and less frustrating, especially on proofs with a lot of feedback.

With this release, tapping on a comment will now focus your view on that specific comment and its replies, rather than showing the full list of comments. This effectively filters the discussion to just the thread you’re engaging with, making it much easier to read and respond on smaller screens. We’ve added a “Back” button that takes you from that focused comment thread back to the full comments list.

We’ve also improved the reply experience by making the reply box sticky to the bottom of the screen. This ensures you can respond to a comment at any time without having to scroll through long threads to find the input field.

Improved drag-and-drop behavior on Ziflow’s Dashboard

In the past, if you wanted to move a proof into a folder, you had to drag it to the folder list in the left-hand navigation. The folder tiles shown directly in the main Dashboard workspace—whether in Grid or List View—were previously visual only and didn’t support drag-and-drop interactions.

With this release, the folders in Grid View and List View now behave like real folders. You can drag and drop proofs directly into folder tiles within the primary Dashboard workspace, making organization faster and more intuitive.

Updated web proxy settings for live website proofs

Ziflow uses a web proxy to allow for secure reviews of live website proofs. Previously, Admins had a single, account-level setting to force all website proofs through a proxy. While effective in many cases, this approach caused issues for some customer sites that don’t function properly when proxied.

With this release, we’re replacing the Force proxy for all sites setting with a more flexible set of configuration options, giving Admins greater control over how live website proofs are handled:

  • Proxy all websites – Proxy is used for all HTTP and HTTPS sites (the previous enabled behavior)
  • Dynamic – Proxy is used only for HTTP sites; HTTPS sites are accessed directly (the previous disabled behavior)
  • Proxy with Block list – Proxy is used for all sites except specific URLs you exclude
  • Proxy with Allow list – Proxy is used only for specific URLs you allow

Admins can also add individual sites to their Block or Allow lists to fine-tune proxy behavior based on their organization’s needs. These updates ensure that live website proofs remain reliable and accurate—while avoiding proxy-related issues on sensitive or complex websites.

ReviewAI for Checklists: Test AI prompt descriptions (in public preview, Enterprise add-on)

When building Checklist items for ReviewAI, teams can already write human-readable descriptions, define AI-readable prompt text, and use the “Improve” option to refine prompts with AI assistance. Until now, however, validating those prompts required saving the Checklist and running it against a live proof, making the setup and refinement process a lengthy one.

With this release, Admins can now test an AI prompt directly from the checklist item editor. Simply click “Test”, paste in a proof URL or proof ID, and run the prompt against a selected asset, without leaving the editor or saving the entire Checklist. ReviewAI will return suggested results for the prompt against that proof, allowing teams to fine-tune wording and logic before deploying it across active workflows.

ReviewAI for Checklists is available in public preview as a paid Enterprise add-on. To learn more about introductory pricing for ReviewAI, contact your Ziflow Customer Success Manager.
