Did you know: You can review video and audio files too?

Ziflow isn’t just for static proofs. You can review video and audio files using the same markup and commenting tools you already know, plus a few features designed specifically for time-based media.

The Video and Audio Proof Viewer looks familiar, but adds tools that make precise feedback easier:

  • Range-based comments let you comment on a specific moment or sequence, not just a single frame. Every comment is saved with a timestamp for clear context.
  • Frame-level control makes it easy to pause, scrub, or step through footage frame by frame (keyboard shortcuts included).
  • Playback options like speed control, looping, mute, and full-screen help reviewers focus on exactly what matters.
  • Subtitles support lets reviewers turn captions on or off and even comment on subtitles synced to the video.
  • Safe zones (on supported plans) show how video content will appear across different formats and screens.

Need to fine-tune feedback? You can adjust comment ranges down to a single frame, loop just the selected section while reviewing, or jump directly to the start or end of a comment range with one click.

And when it’s time to share feedback beyond Ziflow, video comments can be exported to PDF, complete with timestamps and subtitle context.

Christmas in Spain: Gifts from the three wise men

In Spain, the traditional gift-giving tradition doesn’t belong to Santa at all. It belongs to the Three Wise Men: Los Reyes Magos.

Presents arrive on the night of January 5, ready to be discovered on the morning of January 6, the Feast of the Epiphany. For many Spanish families, this is the real climax of the holiday season, often carrying more weight than Christmas Day itself, although many families celebrate both.

In the weeks leading up to Epiphany, children write letters to the Wise Men, carefully listing the gifts they hope to receive and reflecting on whether they’ve behaved well enough to deserve them. Good behavior is rewarded with presents; bad behavior earns coal, though these days it usually comes in the form of sweet black candy rather than anything truly punitive.
