Feature of the day: Proof security settings
If you need to restrict who can access a proof, you don’t need complex workflows or secret tricks. You can set proof security as a default and at the proof level.
You can:
- Require authentication
- Limit access to users only
A little configuration goes a long way, especially if your team handles confidential content.
Depending on your Ziflow edition, different security options are available.
Admins: Set as a default
Available for administrators on: Business Legacy, Standard Pro Enterprise
- Go to Settings > Proofing Settings > General.
- Choose a security setting in Proof security.
-
Set to allow users to edit this setting or disable.
For more information, check out Proof security and sharing settings.
Proof creator: Set at the proof level
If your Ziflow administrator has enabled Allow editing, you can set proof security when you create a proof.
Available on: Free Standard Pro Enterprise
When creating a new proof, under Security, choose your preference from the Access drop-down menu.
For more information, see Configure proof security when creating a proof.
Ziflow culture: Piernik season begins
Over on the Polish side of the team, December means piernik staropolski.
This isn’t your average gingerbread, it’s a slow-aged dough that matures for weeks. Some of us stick to konfitura śliwkowa (which is something between plum jam and plum butter) or marzipan fillings (sorry, walnut-cream people). And here’s a critical rule passed down with zeal:
Cover the batter properly or it will dry out and turn unusable.
Here's a recipe if you want to add some to your holiday, but hurry up and get started!

Holiday baking is a serious sport around here. Stay tuned for more recipes from the Ziflow team!
