Updates to Proof Brief editor: Eliminating formatting issues
Copying and pasting a Proof Brief from Google Docs, Microsoft Word, or similar tools has historically brought over not only the text, but also hidden markup. This often resulted in formatting issues that didn’t translate well—like dark text appearing unreadable in Proof Viewer’s dark mode.
With this release, Ziflow has introduced a new WYSIWYG editor architecture that automatically converts pasted content into markdown, rather than carrying over raw markup. This ensures consistent, clean formatting when entering or editing Proof Briefs, regardless of the source.
Clean, reliable formatting means Proof Briefs are easier to read in every viewing mode. This improvement was driven directly by customer feedback, and we’re glad to finally resolve an issue that has long frustrated teams using Ziflow.
