In public preview: set yourself as out of office and unavailable to participate in creative reviews

We’re excited to open the public preview period for a long-requested feature: Out of office. With this release, users can mark themselves as unavailable for creative reviews by selecting start and end dates from the context menu under their profile avatar in the Dashboard. For more information, see Manage out of office.

Once enabled: 

• A shaded banner will be displayed at the top of the Dashboard to remind the user that they’re marked as OOO
• The user’s status will be visible in key places across the app in the form of a small “calendar” icon—such as the Users table, reviewer selection when creating a proof and/or workflow template, and more

Note: during the public preview period, the OOO icon and details may not yet appear everywhere a user can be seen or selected, as the feature is in active development.

This is the first step in our broader “Out of Office & Delegation” initiative, shaped by feedback from enterprise teams looking to better manage coverage and communication when team members are unavailable. Please note that Delegation is a separate, upcoming feature, but keep an eye on Ziflow’s Ideas Board to weigh in and track its progress.
