Enable Out of Office in Ziflow to indicate that you're unavailable for proof reviews.

Available on: All editions

This feature is in Public Preview phase. Public Preview gives users early access to new features so they can try them out and provide feedback before full release.

When you set yourself to out of office, colleagues will see an out of office badge next to your name:

  • When adding you to a new proof review
  • Next to your comments and replies
  • When they share a proof
  • When they @mention you in the comments
  • In the proof details workflow
  • In the People list

Note: Colleagues can still add you to a review if you have Out of Office enabled.

Schedule your out of office

Note: Screen captures reflect the Enterprise edition of Ziflow. If you’re on a different edition, some features or options might not appear in your view.

  1. Log into Ziflow.

  2. Select your user avatar and choose Out of Office.

When the From date arrives, the Out of office menu option indicates "Active", and Ziflow displays a banner at the top of the application with your out of office settings.

Edit/remove your out of office

To edit your out of office dates, select Settings on your Out of office banner or select your user avatar and choose Out of Office. Edit your From and Until fields and select Save.

To remove your out of office, select Clear on your Out of office banner or select your user avatar, choose Out of Office, and select Clear. When you clear your Out of Office setting, Ziflow removes your out of office badge in the application.

There is no explanation on how you get to “Public proof viewer”. It seems silly that this cannot be accessed from your profile.

    Hi Kat King,
Thanks for providing feedback to improve our documentation. I have clarified the Public Preview message. Please let me know if this is helpful or still needs adjustments.

Out of Office is in Public Preview phase. During this phase we give users early access to new features so they can try them out and provide feedback before full release.

    Cheers!

Are you able to (in addition to setting an out of office) assign a proxy on your behalf? I'm not sure if that's functionality that'll be coming down the road or not. One of the pain points we have is the lack of being able to assign a proxy if someone is out of office so people are not modifying our regulated workflows with new individuals. But if the approver themselves had a proxy that was previously approved, they could place that individual in on behalf of their duty while they are out.

Thank you for your feedback Steve Place! Assigning a proxy (delegation) is one of the features on our Ideas board, and I have added your comment to the issue to promote it :-)
