April 2025 Release Notes (25.8)

Proof Viewer enhancements: improved Canvas/Gallery View switcher, remember View mode

With this release, we’ve made it easier to toggle between Gallery View and Canvas View in Proof Viewer with a more visible, clearly labeled switcher. The original icon-only toggle in the top-left corner has been updated to a new button that reads: “View: Gallery” or “View: Canvas”, depending on your selection. 

Also new: Ziflow will now remember your last selected view. If you accessed Canvas View in your last session, we’ll automatically bring you back to it next time—no extra clicks required. We hope these updates will make it easier for users—especially new ones—to take advantage of multi-asset reviews while reducing friction between sessions.

New Ziflow Connect action: “Create Jira subtask”

With this release, we’re introducing a new Ziflow Connect action (often referred to as a “Zibot”): “Create Jira Subtask.” This automation is perfect for creative teams who manage campaigns in Jira using parent tasks and subtasks for each asset, or whose processes demand they create a new subtask for each proof version in the review cycle. 

It will work just like our existing “Create Jira Issue” action, but includes a new “Parent issue” field so you can attach each subtask to the right parent task, automatically. As Jira continues to gain traction in marketing and creative workflows, we’re happy to expand our automation toolkit to match how real teams work.
