Private replies to public comments, plus stage visibility controls
Sometimes discussions that happen around public comments need to be kept discreet. With this release, Ziflow is introducing the ability for users to reply privately to public comments. Whether you need to provide additional nuance, internal perspectives on feedback provided by clients or outside stakeholders, or simply keep certain conversations under wraps, this feature ensures that private discussions can happen directly beneath public comments without the need to switch to a different communication platform.
Starting today, users who have permission to leave private comments based on their level of access can now do so as replies to public comments. This feature is available when the proof settings allow for both public and private comments, providing a flexible communication tool for nuanced discussions.
In addition, upon posting a private comment, a “Make visible for” menu will appear, allowing users to select the specific stage in which the comment can be viewed.
Note: private comments are not currently included in proof report exports or PDF downloads of proofs. The same will continue to be true for private replies to public comments.
Switch between Gallery View and Canvas View in monday.com board view
With this release, we’re adding a dropdown setting in the Board View configuration flyout that allows users to view their proofs either via Ziflow’s Gallery View or Canvas View inside the proofs gallery board view in monday.com.
Admins can now select Canvas View as the default display mode from the Board View configuration flyout. Once selected, Canvas View will become the default setting for all users who access this board view, which should help facilitate the creation of two separate Ziflow board views in monday.com—one for Gallery View and one for Canvas View—ensuring greater flexibility in how teams review and interact with their proofs.
Improved Dashboard filtering: Search custom property values
With this release, we’re adding search functionality to custom property filters, making it easier to quickly find and select values when filtering proofs. Users can now search within the following custom property types when filtering proofs: Single List, Multi List, Checkbox, and Radio buttons.
In addition, we’ve added type-ahead results to customer property value searching—as you type, matching options will automatically appear—making filtering faster and more intuitive. This update should streamline filtering and selection for teams managing large numbers of proofs, making it easier to find exactly what you need with minimal scrolling.
