Depending on your proof permissions, you will complete your review either by selecting Complete Review or Make decision.
Note: Pro, Business Legacy, or Enterprise edition Administrators users can customize decision labels to match your organization's workflows. For more information, see the Manage decision settings.
Complete a review
Comment permission allows the reviewer to mark their review as complete but not submit a decision.
If you have Comment-only permissions, the Complete review button is at the top center in the Proof Viewer.
Reviewing | You are still reviewing the proof |
Review complete | You have completed your review |
When you have finished working on a proof, choose Review complete. Your action status changes to Review complete on the Proof Details page.
Withdraw your completed review status
If the proof has not been locked and is still under review, you can revert back to reviewing by opening the proof in the Proof Viewer and selecting Reviewing.
Submit a decision
Approve permission lets the reviewer choose a decision from the decision list (e.g., Approved, Changes Required).
If you have Approve permission, the Make decision button is at the top center of the Proof Viewer.
Decision pending | If the proof has not been locked and is still under review, you can withdraw your decision by selecting Decision pending. |
Approved | You approve the proof as-is. |
Approved with changes | You approve the proof but require changes that do not require a new version. |
Changes required | You require changes and want to review a new version once changes are made. |
Not relevant | You are opting out of participating in the decision for this version. For example, you may have previously approved content unaffected by the current changes. |
Note: Your organization may use different labels or have different uses for standard labels. If you have questions, ask your Ziflow Administrator.
