Ziflow Final Cut Pro X plugin

Use the Ziflow Apple Final Cut Pro X plugin to upload a new asset or version without logging into Ziflow. Content creators can push assets to Ziflow using the plugin without opening another tool or browser.

Available for: every Ziflow user on all editions.

Install the Ziflow plugin

Go to the plugin on the Mac App Store and download and install the plugin on your Mac device

Once installed, you can open it from a Launchpad which will open an extension window in Final Cut Pro X. Start using the plugin by signing in to Ziflow.

Create proofs from Final Cut Pro

Select Add Share destination or choose the project destination manually by going to File > Share in Final Cut.

Once you sign in to Ziflow and choose the asset destination, you can create a proof. 

Select the Ziflow plugin button in Final Cut to open the Ziflow dashboard. From here, you can create a new proof/version.

Reviewing Ziflow proofs in Final Cut 

After you sign in to your Ziflow account, you can view proofs that you created or were invited to review.

Open a proof in the plugin to review it as you would in the Proof Viewer. The plugin allows you to add comments and markups, export comments, compare proof versions, and more.

Final Cut plugin troubleshooting 

If you experience any issues, we recommend deleting the plugin cache as a first step:

  1. Select the Finder menu > Go > Go To Folder...

  2. Paste: ~/Library/Containers/

  3. Delete all Ziflow folders

  4. Restart your computer to complete the process.

Also allow the Ziflow application to be embedded in your account security settings.
