Q: How do I convert a user into a guest?

A: You can simply deactivate the user. This will free up a seat on your account and turn the user into a guest contact. Alternatively, you can remove the user you've selected and then add them back using the 'Add contact' option.

A: They can view their proofs either through the public URL or by clicking on a link in an email notification.


Q: What occurs with the proofs of someone who's been removed as a user and later added as a guest?

A: Removing or deactivating a user from an account will not affect the proofs they have been added to. If the person hasn't been completely removed from the proofs, they will still have a reviewer role and will still be able to view the proofs they have been assigned.

Deleting users or guest contacts from the People tab doesn't automatically remove them from the proofs they're reviewing. If you want to remove a user or guest from your proofs, you'll need to use the Remove from all proofs option that's visible in their profile fly-outs.
